- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- Thread chicken pieces onto soaked skewers.
- Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
- Heat a grill or pan over medium heat.
- Grill skewers for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Brush glaze onto skewers while cooking.
- Cook until chicken is fully done and slightly charred.
- Serve hot.
