Ingredients

  • 4 lbs beef brisket
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Rub brisket with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large pan and sear brisket on both sides.
  4. Place sliced onions and minced garlic in a roasting pan.
  5. Add seared brisket on top and pour beef broth over it.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 3-4 hours until tender.
  7. Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
