Ingredients

  • 12 jalapeño peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, bacon bits, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix bread crumbs with olive oil until evenly coated.
  6. Top each stuffed jalapeño with the bread crumb mixture.
  7. Place the jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender and the topping is golden brown.
