These delicious jalapeno poppers are filled with a creamy cheese mixture and are perfect for parties or game day!

- 12 fresh jalapeno peppers, halved and seeded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeno half, filling them generously.
- If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the filled jalapenos for extra crunch.
- Place the jalapeno poppers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the jalapenos are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For spicier poppers, leave some seeds in the jalapenos.
- You can substitute the cheddar cheese with any cheese of your choice.
- These poppers can be made ahead of time and frozen, then baked directly from the freezer for a quick snack.
