- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 hoagie rolls
- Sweet peppers or giardiniera for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rub the beef roast with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Place the roast in a baking dish and pour beef broth around it.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 3 hours.
- Remove the roast and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Slice the beef thinly against the grain.
- Serve the sliced beef on hoagie rolls, topped with sweet peppers or giardiniera.
- Optionally, dip the sandwich in the broth before serving.
