Ingredients

- 500g ground chicken
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Mix ground chicken, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, pepper, egg, breadcrumbs, and parsley in a bowl.
- Shape the mixture into small oval patties or logs.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook the kofta for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- For the sauce, mix yogurt, crushed garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Serve the kofta hot with the garlic yogurt sauce.
Notes
- You can grill the kofta instead of pan-frying.
- Adjust spices to taste.
- Serve with pita bread or rice.
