Ingredients

- 4 large Irish potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Add the chopped cabbage and onion to the pot.
- Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
- Drain the vegetables and return to the pot.
- Add butter, salt, and pepper. Mash together until well combined.
- Serve hot as a side dish.
