Description

Ingredients

- 4 large Irish potatoes
- 1 medium head of cabbage
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes into even pieces.
- In a large pot, boil water and add the potatoes.
- Cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
- While potatoes are cooking, chop the cabbage.
- In a separate pot, steam or boil the cabbage until tender, about 10 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return to the pot.
- Add butter, salt, and pepper to the potatoes.
- Mash the potatoes until smooth.
- Mix in the cooked cabbage.
- Serve warm.
