This recipe creates tender and juicy chicken breasts using an instant pot.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Turn on the instant pot and select the sauté function.
- Add olive oil to the pot and heat it.
- Brown the chicken breasts on both sides, about 2-3 minutes each.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Add chicken broth to the pot and scrape the bottom to deglaze.
- Place the chicken back in the pot.
- Seal the instant pot and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Allow natural release for 5 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.
- Remove the chicken and let it rest before slicing.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate chicken before cooking.
- Adjust cooking time for larger chicken breasts.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
