  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut chicken breasts in half horizontally to make thin cutlets.
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
  5. Dip each chicken cutlet in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 2 minutes per side until golden.
