- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss asparagus with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 12-15 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
- Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side.
- Pour honey garlic sauce over shrimp and simmer for 2-3 minutes until glazed.
- Serve shrimp over roasted asparagus.
