Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs in the crock pot.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and chicken broth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, remove the chicken and set aside.
  6. Mix cornstarch and water, then add it to the sauce in the crock pot.
  7. Stir and cook on high for 15 minutes until thickened.
  8. Return the chicken to the pot and coat with sauce.
