- 2 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)
- 1 ripe banana, sliced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon butter (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a pan or sandwich press over medium heat.
- If using butter, lightly spread it on one side of each bread slice.
- Place the banana slices evenly on one slice of bread.
- Drizzle honey over the bananas.
- Cover with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Place the sandwich in the pan or press and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for the best sweetness.
- Adjust the amount of honey to your taste.
- For extra crunch, toast the bread lightly before assembling.
