Description
This homemade chicken noodle soup is made in a crockpot for easy preparation.
Ingredients

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups egg noodles
Instructions
- Add chicken, broth, water, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, parsley, and pepper to the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
- Add egg noodles and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- You can add more vegetables if desired.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
