Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix grated carrots and crushed pineapple.
  3. Add applesauce, honey, and eggs; stir well.
  4. In another bowl, combine whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before serving.
