- 1 bag frozen hashbrowns (30 oz)
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet until browned.
- In a large bowl, mix together the hashbrowns, cooked sausage, cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
- Pour the egg mixture over the hashbrown mixture and stir to combine.
- Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use any type of cheese you prefer.
- For a vegetarian option, omit the sausage or use a meat substitute.
- This casserole can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight.
