- 2 cups frozen hash browns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the hash browns, cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, onion, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add cooked bacon or sausage for extra flavor.
- Top with additional cheese for a cheesier dish.
- This dish can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
