- 1 (30 oz) bag of frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, chopped onion, melted butter, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can mix in cooked bacon or sausage.
- If you prefer a crispier top, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
