Juicy beef fillet marinated in spicy harissa and served with a tangy lemon sauce.
Ingredients

- 500g beef fillet
- 2 tbsp harissa paste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Mix harissa, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat the beef fillet with the marinade and let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat and sear the fillet for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the beef and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- In the same pan, add honey and lemon zest, simmer for 1 minute.
- Slice the beef and drizzle with the lemon sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust harissa for more or less spice.
- Resting the beef keeps it juicy.
- Use fresh lemon for the best flavor.
