  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Juicy and delicious hamburgers made easily in the air fryer. Perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and tender interior.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, mustard

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the patties in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
  5. Cook the hamburgers for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  6. If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  7. Remove the patties from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Toast the hamburger buns in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes if desired.
  9. Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings and serve.

Notes

  • For a spicier burger, add cayenne pepper or your favorite hot sauce to the meat mixture.
  • Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  • Hamburgers can be frozen before cooking. Thaw completely before air frying.
