Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape into 4 patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, then remove.
- Add onions to the skillet and cook until caramelized.
- Push onions to the side, melt butter, and whisk in flour.
- Gradually add beef broth, stirring until gravy thickens.
- Return patties to the skillet, coat with gravy, and simmer for 2 minutes.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for a firmer texture.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
