- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup frosting
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil.
- Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cupcakes from the oven and allow them to cool completely in the pan.
- Once cooled, use a piping bag to frost the cupcakes with your choice of frosting.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the frosted cupcakes to create the spiderweb design.
- Melt the white chocolate chips and use a piping bag to create the spiderweb pattern on top of the chocolate syrup.
- Allow the decorations to set before serving.
