- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 oz egg noodles or rice for serving
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add butter, onions, and mushrooms. Cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well.
- Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes to thicken.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Serve hot over cooked noodles or rice.
Notes
- Substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a lighter option.
- Add a dash of hot sauce for extra heat.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
