Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 cup green beans, trimmed and chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup pasta (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Cook until vegetables soften.
- Stir in beef broth, diced tomatoes, green beans, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- If using, add pasta and cook until tender.
Notes
- Serve with crusty bread.
- You can add other vegetables as desired.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
