Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed and chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup pasta (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Cook until vegetables soften.
  3. Stir in beef broth, diced tomatoes, green beans, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. If using, add pasta and cook until tender.
