  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Pita bread or flatbreads for serving
  • Toppings: sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and tahini sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, turmeric, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef mixture to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula.
