- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Pita bread or flatbreads for serving

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, turmeric, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef mixture to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula.
