- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 8 taco shells
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain excess fat from the skillet.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and diced tomatoes. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- While the beef mixture is cooking, warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
- To assemble the tacos, spoon the ground beef mixture into each taco shell.
- Top with shredded lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and cilantro if using.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
