  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 taco shells

  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Sour cream and salsa for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and onion. Cook, breaking up the beef with a spatula, until the beef is browned and the onion is soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and water, and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
  4. While the beef is cooking, warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
