These ground beef tacos are quick and easy to make, packed with flavor, and perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 8 taco shells
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Sour cream and salsa for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and onion. Cook, breaking up the beef with a spatula, until the beef is browned and the onion is soft, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water, and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
- While the beef is cooking, warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
- To assemble the tacos, spoon the beef mixture into each taco shell and top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, and salsa as desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
