- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add onions and peppers, sauté until softened.
- Push vegetables to the side and add ground beef.
- Cook beef until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Mix vegetables and beef together.
- Divide the mixture between hoagie rolls.
- Top each with 2 slices of provolone cheese.
- Place under a broiler until cheese melts.
- Serve hot.

- Use a lean ground beef for less grease.
- Customize with mushrooms or jalapeños if desired.
- Toast the hoagie rolls for extra crunch.
