Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with milk and butter. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the beef and stir to coat. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve the ground beef and gravy over the mashed potatoes.
