Ingredients

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain.
  2. Mash the potatoes with milk and butter until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces.
  4. Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the beef mixture, stirring to coat.
  6. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  8. Serve the beef and gravy over mashed potatoes.
