Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 ounces)
- 1 can kidney beans (15 ounces), drained and rinsed
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Transfer mixture to the crockpot.
- Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, taco seasoning, and beef broth.
- Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Notes
- Serve with rice or tortillas.
- Top with cheese or sour cream if desired.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
