Description
This grilled ribeye steak is juicy, tender, and full of flavor, making it the perfect dish for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks, 1-inch thick
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to high heat, about 450°F to 500°F.
- Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the steaks.
- Once the grill is hot, place the steaks on the grill and close the lid.
- Grill the steaks for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or adjust the time for desired doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- For best results, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. Aim for 130°F for medium-rare.
- Letting the steak rest allows the juices to redistribute for a more flavorful bite.
- Feel free to customize the seasoning blend to your taste!
