- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Grill for 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through. Slice into strips.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream, then stir in Parmesan cheese and nutmeg. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Toss cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce. Top with grilled chicken and garnish with parsley.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
