Ingredients

  • 1 (14.5 oz) can of green beans, drained
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of crispy fried onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a 1.5-quart baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and stir in half of the crispy fried onions.
  6. Top with the remaining fried onions and cheese if using.
  7. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown.
