- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp dill, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a bowl, mix turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, parsley, and red onion.
- Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Brown meatballs for 2 minutes per side.
- Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
- For tzatziki, mix yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, dill, and garlic in a bowl.
- Serve meatballs with tzatziki sauce.
Notes
- Use lean ground turkey for a healthier option.
- Drain excess liquid from cucumber to prevent watery tzatziki.
- Meatballs can be frozen before or after cooking.
