Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 200g French fries, cooked
  • For the garlic sauce: 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp olive oil, salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with olive oil, paprika, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Cook chicken in a pan over medium heat until fully done, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Prepare garlic sauce by mixing yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt.
  4. Warm pita breads slightly.
  5. Fill each pita with chicken, tomato, onion, and fries. Drizzle with garlic sauce.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
  • You can grill the chicken instead of pan-frying.
