- 500g boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, garlic, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes.
- Grill or pan-fry chicken until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Slice chicken into strips.
- Warm pita breads slightly.
- Assemble gyros with chicken, cucumber, tomato, and red onion.
- Top with tzatziki sauce.
- Serve immediately.

- For extra flavor, marinate chicken overnight.
- Use fresh herbs for the best taste.
- If you don’t have Greek yogurt, regular yogurt works too.
