- 500g chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 pita breads
- 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
- 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
- 1/2 cup sliced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix chicken with olive oil, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Warm the pita bread in a dry pan for 1-2 minutes per side.
- Spread tzatziki on each pita, add cooked chicken, cucumber, tomatoes, and red onion.
- Fold the pita and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
- Use Greek yogurt for a thicker tzatziki sauce.
