- 500g chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 sliced tomato
- 1 sliced cucumber
- 1/2 cup sliced red onion
- For Tzatziki: 1 cup Greek yogurt, 1 grated cucumber, 1 minced garlic clove, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp dill, salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with olive oil, paprika, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes.
- Cook chicken in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Prepare tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, dill, and salt in a bowl.
- Warm pita breads in a skillet or oven.
- Assemble gyros by placing cooked chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and red onion on pita breads. Top with tzatziki sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
