- 4 pork sausages
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef stock
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and cook sausages until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté onions until soft and golden.
- Sprinkle flour over onions and stir for 1-2 minutes.
- Gradually add beef stock while stirring to avoid lumps.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
- Return sausages to the pan and simmer for 5-7 minutes until gravy thickens.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes or toast.

- Use high-quality sausages for better flavor.
- If gravy is too thick, add more stock.
- For extra richness, a splash of cream can be stirred in at the end.
