A rich and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken cooked in golden garlic butter sauce served over creamy parmesan linguine.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
- Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine to the sauce.
- Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if preferred.
- Freshly grated parmesan works best for the creamiest sauce.
