Description
A delicious golden brown cod fillet served with a rich herb butter sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cod fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Season cod fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook cod fillets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove cod from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add parsley, dill, and lemon juice. Stir well.
- Pour herb butter sauce over the cod fillets.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for best flavor.
- Do not overcook the cod to keep it tender.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
