Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Spoon batter into the mini muffin pan, filling each cup halfway.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  8. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  9. Dip each donut hole in the glaze and let set before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the batter to keep the texture soft.
  • Adjust glaze thickness by adding more milk if needed.
