Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water and drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add shrimp, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 2-3 minutes until shrimp turns pink.
  5. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add rice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is cooked.
  8. Stir in the cooked shrimp and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
