Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water and drain.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 2-3 minutes until shrimp turns pink.
- Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add rice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Stir in the cooked shrimp and Parmesan cheese.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with a squeeze of lemon for extra freshness.
