Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Shape mixture into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
- Spread marinara sauce over the top.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped basil.
- Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
