- 2 (8 oz) steaks (ribeye or sirloin)
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 4 tbsp butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until tender.
- Mix softened butter with minced garlic and thyme. Set aside.
- Season steaks with salt and pepper. Cook in a hot skillet for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Top with garlic butter after flipping.
- In the last 5 minutes of roasting, sprinkle cheese over potatoes and return to the oven to melt.
- Toss broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast for 15 minutes on a separate tray.
- Serve steak with cheesy potatoes and roasted broccoli.
Notes
- Let steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Use freshly grated cheddar for better melting.
- Adjust steak doneness by cooking longer if preferred.
