Ingredients

- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tbsp butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp sour cream
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain and mash the potatoes with milk, sour cream, and 2 tbsp butter. Set aside.
- Season the steak bites with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Reduce heat to low. Add remaining butter and minced garlic to the pan. Stir for 1 minute.
- Toss the steak bites in the garlic butter and sprinkle with parsley.
- Serve immediately with mashed potatoes.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check doneness (145°F for medium-rare).
- For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the steak.
- Let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving.
