Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Serve steak bites over mashed potatoes. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure steak reaches 145°F for medium doneness.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of thyme or rosemary to the garlic butter.
