Ingredients

- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash with milk and sour cream. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Serve steak bites over mashed potatoes. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure steak reaches 145°F for medium doneness.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of thyme or rosemary to the garlic butter.
