Ingredients

- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp sour cream
Instructions
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain potatoes and mash with milk and sour cream until smooth. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add steak bites, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic, and cook for 1-2 minutes until garlic is fragrant.
- Serve steak bites over mashed potatoes.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
- Let steak rest for a few minutes before cutting for juicier bites.
