Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp sour cream

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
  2. Drain potatoes and mash with milk and sour cream until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add steak bites, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  5. Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic, and cook for 1-2 minutes until garlic is fragrant.
  6. Serve steak bites over mashed potatoes.
