Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  4. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add asparagus and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Return shrimp to the skillet and stir in lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Cook for another minute, then garnish with fresh parsley.
  8. Serve immediately.
