- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
- Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add asparagus and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and stir in lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Cook for another minute, then garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately.
